What's a same day edit? Click here to learn more.

Here's a wonderful voicemail we received from the mother of the bride after this past Saturday's 10-Minute Same Day Edit at the Ballroom at the Ben in Philadelphia.

LISTEN TO THE VOICEMAIL

Kudos to Gary for editing the same day footage, to Kris for most of the pre-production, and to everyone on the crew for helping to make this a very special production for this family.

Dave,

It was a pleasure working with you on Saturday November 11/06 at The Ballroom at the Ben. Your same day edit video presentation before the Bride and Groom was announced into the room was "Awesome".

I have been in the wedding entertainment field for over 20 years and have performed at over 1500 affairs. I have never seen that done before. I will be sure to recommend you to my clients.

I look forward to working with you in the future.

Best of Luck,

Hi DAVE!!!!!

What do you say to someone who felt like part of your family that day and night!!??!! We honestly had the greatest time with you that day!! I can't thank you enough for EVERYTHING you have done to make our Wedding so amazing.

But more importantly, what you were able to capture, so that we can remember our day over and over! I told you from the beginning how important your role was in our day, especially with organizing the "Same Day Edit."

You were so enthusicastic, so helpful and had so many creative ideas to enhance every moment. You exceeded every thought I had for that day. You and Sheryl are so amazing, and really take the time to make personal connections with your clients.

I didn't even feel like a client - I felt like your friend. That in itself is something that is so valued and so unheard of today.

The "Same Day Edit" - there aren't words to explain what that meant to us! I could try and write how unbelievable it was, I could try and say that it was the most meaningful thing I have ever seen - but no words can truly pinpoint what the result of that moment felt like.

You worked so hard to make that one of the most memorable moments of the night!!! The way the pictures went with the music, the live inserts of us from that day, the voice overs!!! You captured such important moments, and within hours - brought that to life for us! UNBELIEVABLE!!!

You captured us!!! The greatest part about having a "Same Day Edit" incorporated in your day, is that unfortunately - not everyone makes the ceremony - so for them to actually see moments from the ceremony, us exchanging our vows - was truly incredible.

You are so gifted, so professional - but more importantly, we feel like you are our friend. We really had so much fun with you and your crew!

Thank you doesn't come close to the appreciation we feel!!! Then, to top it off, you sent us the 30 second Wedding Summary video of our day, set to music and voice overs!!!! WOW - that was amazing, we've been able to relive such fun moments, and we don't even have the video yet!!!! I can't even wait to see what you do with that!!!

You are truly a gift to this industry! Thank you for helping to make our Wedding the greatest day of our lives. Thank you for caring for us on such a personal level! Thank you for making us feel so special on that day!! You are forever in our hearts!!!

With the most sincere appreciation!
Nicole and Bryan Flannery

out of curiousity, Dave, do you clear the voice recording with you client before posting it? Or does your outgoing message say that the caller might be rebroadcasted?

thanks.
(I love your blog and the exciting stuff you're doing... you rock.)

Good to hear from you Andrew. Yes - we get permission from every client whether it's voicemails or clips from their projects. Thanks for watching!
