A Marriage Across the Pond

Wednesday, September 27, 2006

When William and Kristen married two weeks ago in Philadelphia, they knew they needed to share their joy with friends and family back in London as soon as possible.

The Director's View Recap was exactly what they needed.

Why I Love My Job

Tuesday, September 26, 2006

Dave.

All I have to say is that I received our wedding recap a week ago, and I have probably watched it 100 times since! Your ability to take an entire day and night and turn it into the most special 4 minute story of the best day of my life is just absolutely unbelieveable. Every bride will admit how much they wish they could have their wedding day all over again, and every time I watch the recap I truly feel as if it just happened yesterday! You caught every special moment, and our friends and family loved that they could be emailed the link to watch the video as well... I'm getting phone calls every day telling me how they cried watching it! I cant even imagine what the wedding video is going to be like.. if the recap is a preview, I know it will be amazing.

Sincerely,

Shelby and David Kleiman

P.S. here's a picture from our photographer - it is adorable, I love it!

I even wrote a caption: "World's Best Videographer filming World's Most Gorgeous Bride" haha

or....

"I couldn't have worked with a better videographer... thank you for making my wedding day so memorable!"

Cassandra Wilson Live

Wednesday, September 20, 2006

Last night I had the pleasure of being hired as the Steadicam operator for Cassandra Wilson at World Cafe Live, produced for Comcast Video On Demand.

It was a six-camera shoot, fed to CN8's brand new production truck. Their new truck is simply amazing. They had me fly an Ikegami HK 388P Digibeta camera with a beautiful Canon wide angle lens.

Thanks to Will, Brian, Drexel, and the rest of the crew. Oh, and special thanks to Nancy for pulling my cable!

Videographer Robert Allen Interviewed on Martha Stewart Weddings

Thursday, September 14, 2006

My friend Robert Allen of Robert Allen Video in New York was interviewed on Martha Stewart's Weddings Magazine show on Sirius radio. Robert does a fantastic job explaining all aspects of wedding video.

During the show, a couple getting married at Congress Hall called in to get advice.

This is a must-listen for brides, grooms, moms and dads who have any questions about videography. Congratulations on the exposure Robert! You represent our industry well!
